What is ACC Sensitive Claims Counselling?

In New Zealand it is possible to receive funding, via the Accident Compensation Corporation or “ACC” for counselling if your current difficulties are caused by a sexual assault or sexual abuse.  This type of treatment via the ACC is called a “sensitive claim.”

If you think you may be eligible for funding then you don’t have to do anything more than make an appointment to talk to one of the Robert Street Clinic’s ACC Sensitive Claims registered psychotherapists, and they can discuss how it works, and whether you are likely to be eligible.
