Here at the Robert Street Clinic we’ve been thinking about what to make of the current Covid-19 situation, and the first thing we want you to know is:

We’re all in this together and we’ve been busy making plans to provide continuity for you, and your treatment at the Clinic.

So, here’s how we see it:

Yesterday’s announcement by the Prime Minister provided clarity about the new National “threat level” system.

As of Saturday the 22nd of March, we are at “Threat Level 2.

What “Threat Level 2” means for us as at the Clinic is we are now required to see as many of our clients via video link as possible.

We also need to strongly advise that any over 70 or immuno-compromised people are required to utilize the online option.

If there is a move at any point by the Government to “Level 3” (involving community outbreak) we will need to close the clinic to all clients and move to exclusively video consults.

The Robert Street Clinic will be conducting all video consults via a fully secure and online platform called “Doxy.me.” When using this platform for your video session, all data is encrypted, your sessions are anonymous, and none of your information is stored. Rest assured that “Doxy.me” adheres to International clinical data privacy requirements.

In the meantime, we encourage you to follow all official health advice from the Ministry of Health updates and look after yourselves and your loved ones.

Kind regards,

Kyle MacDonald and Rob Kelly.

Clinic Directors.
