Kyle is an experienced psychotherapist who has worked in mental health, addiction, domestic violence and specialist psychotherapy programmes. He specialises in addictions, the effects of trauma and anxiety.
He sees men and women for short term solution focussed counselling and longer term intensive psychotherapy.
Kyle is trained in both behavioural and psychodynamic therapies, inlcuding Dialectical Behaviour Therapy or “DBT”. He has a particular interest in alcohol and drug problems, childhood trauma and anger problems.

Kyle was the NZAP representative on the ACC Sensitive Claims Advisory Group (SCAG) from 2010 until 2014. He was also on the New Zealand Association of Psychotherapists National Council as convener of Public Issues from 2012 – 2016.
He has recently developed and written an online treatment programme for Social Anxiety, incorporating mindfulness, DBT, ACT and assertiveness training.
